This work is a religious-political genre in rural setting depicting religious hypocrisy, abuse of power and subjugation of the marginalized by those who had the monopoly of power in the apartheid South Africa, and those who followed state's democratization system. The effects of racial discrimination, social class elitism, corruption, violence and separate development today however continue to haunt the poor and have brought about uneven society
