Four friends feel they do not belong in a future world ruled by an AI Overlord who calls itself the State Of Being, referred to as the S.O.B. by the Saps (homo sapiens). When they hear of a place they can manually change their coding to reflect their own individual gender identity, social standing, and physical traits, they jump on the opportunity - and jump they do, to parallel universes where they get more than bargained for!
