Mark Michalisin has over twenty-five years of professional, hands-on experience focusing on sales and marketing in the B2B world. Mark graduated from Union College with both his BA and MBA and has held numerous sales leadership positions in marketing, sales management, and business development.

At the age of forty-five, Mark made the career decision to move away from the sales world and enter the hallowed halls of academia as a professor in practice in sales and marketing. In this new position, Mark has taught classes such as: Fundamentals of Marketing, B2B Marketing, Sales Management, and the Principles of Professional Selling. He is now teaching at Virginia Tech and is a proud member of Hokie Nation and is VP of business development for The Michalisin Consultant Group.

When not in the classroom, or preparing for his lectures, you can find Mark and his wife, Renee, relaxing with their two dogs, Fenway and Felicia enjoying life in Southwest Virginia.
