This is a book of short stories, not a how to book about writing. But I share these thoughts because I was asked, how did you write these stories? Where did they come from? What is the secret to writing? The answer is, of course, I don't know. Writing is a process that begins with a single word, the first that you put on paper. But without that word you cannot succeed. You have to capture it in print and then the rest will follow. These stories are all different in plot, setting, character development and point of view, all fabrications of my imagination, and I don't know how they got in there.
