Victor Payne is an LA cop, Homicide. Known as The Hurt Legend, he has the most collars in all of Los Angeles. He's good at his job...Too good. Just when he gets bored with no real intriguing crimes happening, his boss brings him a case that no one can seem to solve. Only it is in Malibu, he hates Malibu, soft ass entitled people with soft lives. What makes him agree to go...this case involves a Lady-Serial-Killer. But there's a catch, he has to agree to a partner and that is another thing he hates. He likes to work alone and he has a good reason for that. He accepts the case as it piques his interest, the killer isn't human and he knows it.

Then he meets his new partner...that is when all hell breaks loose.
