Gus has had to work harder than most of his friends at school in order to succeed; the only thing that he has ever really succeeded in is Street dance- everyone has watched him change since taking it up.
He forms a dance group called 'Onbeat' and enters a dance competition, but there is unexpected competition from a rival dance group 'Kickback'. This is set to cause a stir within Onbeat in more ways than one.
