In a time when criminals are sold on, Anne finds herself framed and convicted of fraudulent dealings. When she is sold, she realises she is in the hands of an old school friend whose advances she once scorned!

Her new owner has unpleasant plans for her but lucky for Anne she has many admirers and helpers on the great estate where she finds herself and, with their help, the conviction is overturned and Anne is free, with a great deal of money to spend as she pleases.
