In order to run away from her painful past, Kataline leaves the United States and goes into exile in France, to live with an aunt she barely knows. Between her University classes, the young woman helps out at her aunt's tattoo parlor, by drawing sketches for her clients.

Away from her demons, Kataline's life slowly goes back to normal. At least, until she meets Maxime, a classmate... She then dives into a dark and dangerous universe, where Rip, the leader of a music band and a ruthless street fighter, seems to rule.

Quickly, dangers more serious than the ones she has faced in the past come back to haunt her and threaten her life. Will Rip be able to save her, or will he be the cause of her downfall?
