Wallace D. Wattles, an Illinois resident, is credited for introducing the interesting idea of the Law of Attraction.

According to this Law, people draw things and situations to themselves based on how they direct their thoughts. According to the Law of Attraction philosophy, people who fixate on failure, poverty, and other adverse conditions often attract even more unfavorable circumstances. Contrarily, those who have the self-control to discard any negative thoughts they have, including those that enter the mind from the external domain, are the winners. It may also range from the despairing pages of the media section or simply pessimistic conversations from co-workers and family members. It may work at developing a wide spectrum of positive thoughts in their mind; they might have unlocked a potent tool for accomplishing their objectives.
