This 165-page report explores the practices and habits of the distance learning programs of more than 50 higher education institutions in the United States, Canada, and Great Britain. Total annual revenue figures are given as well as percentage changes in revenue over the past two years and expected changes moving forward. The report examines the assessment efforts of these programs while providing statistics on tuition, enrollment, retention rates, and faculty compensation. Particular focus is given to emerging trends in marketing and advertising and overall spending in these areas. With over 400 tables, and data broken out by country, type of college, total student enrollment, private or public status, and number of courses offered, end users can gauge how their distance learning programs size up against a wide array of programs both big and small.
