Songwriter/Producer Bob Crewe, who had helped turn the 4 Seasons into superstars, picked up the Four Evers and began molding them into a 4 Seasonish type group. In fact, they would often work closely with Frankie Valli and members of the 4 Seasons. They scored only one national hit, "Be My Girl" but it was a doozy!
