Jenny Morrison loved her new home in the Northumberland village of Cragley. She'd taken a big gamble moving from Kent after her mother's death, but the house was perfect, and it would give her the chance to set up the little craft shop she'd always dreamed of.

Local artist Will Renfrew, approaching forty and living alone in a big house, had made her very welcome, but not all the neighbours were as friendly. The two surly teenagers who lived next door with their father, Tom, made it very clear that they didn't want her there, and didn't expect her to last.
