Eileen Byther moved to a remote and long abandoned cottage on the coast of Maine with her two dogs. She was trying to rebuild her personal life and make a home with what she had salvaged. All she was seeking was peace and quiet; to be left alone. During the process of trying to protect her property, she shot a man to death on her beach during a nighttime gunfight.
