This book originally published in 1876 written by historian Joseph Doddridge (1769-1826) contains a wealth of first-hand information on the settlement of western Virginia and Pennsylvania. It includes a memoir of Rev. Doddridge and several articles by his daughter Nacissa; a short history of the Doddridge family.
