Mistletoe hasn't lost its holiday charm, but David Dean and Elizabeth Wilson face other outside forces besides winter storm warnings and a meddling, conniving ex-wife.

The king and queen of matchmaking need to face their own romantic longings outside the expectations of their families, friends, and the town. Heartbreak isn't something they want, but sometimes past rivalries and secrets do more to break down budding love than anything else can.

When David's ex-wife comes back – again – she decides she's going to get back together with David like nothing ever happened. The announcement is made the same day David declares his love for Elizabeth.
