Lindsay Macauley is a single mom with a 13-year-old son, Lee. Rand Dyson is a divorced man with a scarred heart. They meet on a train during the worst blizzard of the decade. She's on her way to Trailwood, a run-down horse farm she has recently inherited. Rand is going home to his horse- breeding estate, Windcrest.
