Auto-biography: Delois Billings Pippen has a B.S. degree in home economics from A.M. & N. College, now known as the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, and a master's degree in early childhood education from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She retired after teaching for thirty-six years in Hamburg Elementary Public Schools. She has served in many capacities in the Baptist and Methodist churches.
