Corinne Nelson, a wealthy young woman from New York City, books a cruise to the Southern Caribbean to seek solace from what she believes will become a messy divorce following a short marriage. On the first night at sea, a young woman traveling with her elderly mother disappears. The woman's last name is the same as Corinne's maiden name which Corinne used to book her voyage. At first, she believes it to be a coincidence, but during the cruise, people at her dining table whom she has befriended, prove not to be as they appear, and she becomes the victim of one of them.
