The exponential growth in media, particularly in electronic and satellite communication and the rapid advances in communication technology are the defining characteristics of the contemporary society. This development has created widespread interest in this area of study; which is reflected in the increasing number of courses, and also the number of students joining such courses, started by several institutions and universities in the country.
