The book describes a dystopic, ignorant society ruled by cruel religious fanatics; a new Ice Age, and a few brave individuals who, through the ages, try to save and recover the source of knowledge needed to build civilization afresh. Interwoven through the book are the courageous efforts of a time traveler from the far future and an illicit inter-millennia love story. An ongoing struggle between scientific knowledge and fanatical religious dogma starting in the mid-third millennium and continuing till the end of the sixth millennium. Two great religions manage to dominate, they dismantle the advanced scientific civilization they supersede and plunge the planet back into the dark ages. But they've overlooked something. Something which could give back hope to humanity. When they realize this, they launch a relentless hunt to destroy it. A fanatic Moslem tries to alter humankind's history by assassinating the scientist from our time who'd first proposed the idea, while a rescuer from the future is sent to 21st century New York to thwart him. There, however, he meets the love of his life in the face of a precious and beautiful blind girl. Will he still succeed in saving civilization?
