Pushpanathan Pillai alias Kottayam Pushpanath is a famous Malayalam author. He wrote many detective novels, mainstream novels, science fiction,

and horror fiction. He has translated Bram Stoker's Dracula into Malayalam. He created two two fictional detective characters - Marxin and Pushparaj.
