Ford Madox Ford was a prolific English novelist and poet in the early 20th century.  Ford wrote the best-selling novel The Good Soldier, as well as the Fifth Queen trilogy and the Parade's End series.  

The Queen Who Flew is a fairy tale that centers around an innocent Queen who spends much of her time talking to an old bat.  The bat tells the Queen a secret which suddenly gives her the ability to fly.
