J.J. Jones and the Hawk (Lindy McCall) go in search of the mysterious ghost globe, an ancient artifact that can change the future of the earth. En route, they encounter such flamboyant personages as Winston Churchill, Harry Houdini, Babe Ruth, Satchel Paige, and, of course, Sir Arthur himself (Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, noted spiritualist and author of the Sherlock Holmes tales). This fast-paced, often humorous novel contains most of the old pulp magazine genres all wrapped up in an enjoyable package to be opened at any time of the year. If you enjoy old-fashioned story telling, you'll certainly enjoy this. Otherwise, Sir Arthur might pay you a visit, and he can be a bit of a rogue.
