《平安海洋——中国的海洋法律与海洋权益》一书由国家海洋局海洋发展战略研究所负责编写和审校。是国家出版基金资助出版项目、"十二五"国家重点图书出版规划项目"中国海洋"丛书中的一本分册。本书从海洋法的发展历程、海洋法的内容、海洋权益的范畴、海洋维权热点问题等几个方面，介绍中国海洋法律发展和维权工作进展情况。反映了中国为坚决维护海洋权益不受侵犯，同时保持与海上邻国的稳定关系和共同发展，中国始终奉行和平解决海上争端的基本原则，妥善处理与有关国家的矛盾，为营造和平稳定的地区环境做出积极贡献。（China's Maritime Laws and Maritime Rights & Interests was compiled and revised by the Marine Development Strategy Institute of State Oceanic Administration. It is a volume in the serial China's Maritime Development which is a publishing program sponsored by the National Publishing Fund as well as the Twelfth Five-year Guideline of National Important Books. It introduces the development of China's maritime laws, as well as its efforts and progress in protecting and upholding maritime rights and interests from the following aspects: the development process of maritime laws, contents of maritime laws, categories of maritime rights and interests, hot issues in protecting and upholding maritime rights and interests and so on.
