为了纪念泰戈尔获诺贝尔文学奖100周年，由深圳大学印度研究中心联络北京大学、尼赫鲁大学等相关单位，举办"泰戈尔在我心中"征文比赛。本书刊出的是此次征文比赛的获奖作品。1924年，泰戈尔离开香港时告诉徐志摩："我把心落在中国了。"这本以"泰戈尔落在中国的心"为书名的获奖作品集非同寻常。踊跃的参赛者中，有知名教授，有博士生、硕士生和本科生，有中小学师生，有文学好手，也有普通的中国老百姓——他们都是泰戈尔作品的喜爱者。通过这一篇篇作品，我们仿佛看到了、听到了泰戈尔落在中国的心，像一颗友谊的种子，在中华大地上生根开花，这样鲜活，这样灿烂。（In order to mark the 100th anniversary of Tagore winning the Nobel Prize for literature, India Research Center of Shenzhen University holds an essay contest called "Tagore is in my heart" cooperating with Peking University, Jawaharlal Nehru University and relevant units. This book publishes the award-winning works in this essay contest. In 1924, when leaving Hon Kong, Tagore told Xu Zhimo: "I leave my heart in China." This collection of the award-winning works, called "Tagore's Heart Left in China", is extraordinary. Among active participants, there are famous professors, doctoral students, postgraduates, undergraduates, and students and teachers from primary and middle schools; there are literary writers and ordinary Chinese people——-all of them are lovers of Tagore. Through these works, we seems to see and hear the heart Tagore left in China, just like a seed of friendship taking root and flowering on the land of China, so fresh, so bright.）
