"Kappa" is a novel which is published in 1927 written by Ryunosuke Akutagawa. A mentally handicapped person climbs a mountain and meets a kappa by chance. The person chases after the kappa and then gets lost in a world inhabited by Kappa which is totally different from human society. Akutagawa wrote this sarcastic novel because he doubts a real society at that time.
