Divorce is often described as a kind of death—the death of a marriage, dreams, and the life you once knew. It leaves behind a trail of emotional turmoil that can feel overwhelming. From heartbreak and anger to confusion and guilt, the pain of divorce is deeply personal, and no two journeys are the same.

Acknowledging this pain is the first step toward healing. Often, society encourages us to move on quickly or to suppress our emotions, but Scripture tells us that it's okay to grieve. The Bible is filled with examples of godly men and women pouring out their sorrows to God, and His response is always one of compassion and understanding. As Psalm 34:18 reminds us, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
