What happens when the smug knowledge that you have it all tumbles, crashes, and collapses? Linda Conn Armento's memoir tells her personal and touching journey of resilience she experienced after the tragedy of losing her husband when they were practically newlyweds.
Linda became a widow at the young age of 27 when her husband died of colon cancer. Having navigated these unknown and sorrow-filled waters, she now takes her wisdom and knowledge to a higher level, mentoring many other young widows/widowers and helping them through their journeys.
Linda's writing is graceful and hopeful and while her story is unique, those of us who have experienced the death of a loved one will relate. Grief doesn't follow an exact pattern and acceptance can take forever, yet memories like this can assure us that we will live and perhaps be even better after tragedy.
