This book is about a series of my Father's conversations with me in a poor Village, in Buzi, Mozambique, Africa. At the time of those conversations there were no storybooks for children.
My Dad used his genius to adapt his conversations to my age and as intriguing to my imagination as well as powerful, if not more powerful than the stories in the storybooks. They inspired me to use similar conversations for inspiration and encouragement of children of poor socio-economic status to become also a roadmap for success to a higher status. Those conversations allowed me, in spite of being born in a such poor village, to become a Board certified physician by the American Board of Internal Medicine in addition to writing a Ph.D. dissertation with distinction of Magna Cum Laude.
While in Medical School, I discovered a plaque, presumably a quotation attributed to E. Forest Witchcraft that read: "A hundred years from now, it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove, but that the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child."
This quotation inspired me to ask how can I elevate my father's conversation to an even higher level and include also to parents and children of higher socio-economic status? I decided to write the topic of my dissertation to be a blueprint for answering this question, as I show in the book.
