OverDrive offers support for Windows^®, Mac^®, iPod^®, iPhone^®, iPad^®, Android^™, BlackBerry^®, Windows^® Phone, Sony^® Reader, NOOK^™, and Kindle^® (US schools and libraries only). To check out, download, and enjoy titles, simply install the free digital media software. This software includes Adobe^® Digital Editions, OverDrive^® Media Console^™, or free Kindle^® app for Kindle books (Kindle Books are currently available for OverDrive US school and library partners only).

Educators, librarians, and students can visit the Device Resource Center to find devices that have been tested for compatibility with School Download Library. OverDrive also makes downloads easy to use for blind and visually impaired students with built-in accessibility features.
