OverDrive MP3 Incompatible Devices
OverDrive MP3 Audiobooks are compatible with many devices including most cell phones, PDAs, and MP3 players.
iTunes® v8.1.0.52 (or newer) is recommended when using the OverDrive Media Console Transfer Wizard to transfer audiobooks to the iPod shuffle®. If you are using an older version of iTunes, you can use iTunes to transfer OverDrive MP3 Audiobooks to the iPod shuffle. For more information on iPod shuffle support, click here.

Please note that due to the changing nature of device hardware and software some of these devices might now support OverDrive WMA titles and/or OverDrive MP3 titles.
Manufacturers often release updates of firmware, the software on which portable devices run, as well as different versions of their hardware that might support OverDrive WMA titles and/or OverDrive MP3 titles. If your device is listed above, please visit your device manufacturer's website to check for firmware updates.
Please note that differences in device firmware make it possible for two similar devices to have different results in regard to compatibility. Manufacturers will often release firmware updates that may expand or limit device functionality. We recommend checking with manufacturers for the latest information on device firmware and file format support.
