ReaderWorks SDK

The ReaderWorks SDK is a toolkit that can be used to automate the eBook process and convert documents, website pages and entire libraries into the Microsoft Reader eBook format. Designed for the large publisher, online content portal, or production facility, ReaderWorks SDK can be used to automatically convert your books and documents to Microsoft Reader format or can add a "Save As Microsoft Reader" component to software applications.

ReaderWorks SDK features an ActiveX control and key DLLs for integration into a variety of production processes and can be launched from a Web page. The .LIT extension allows the saved document to be read on any PC with Microsoft Reader in a format that is clear and crisp, emulating the experience of reading from paper. Providing maximum flexibility, this point and click technology will enhance any application as Microsoft Reader is likely to quickly become the digital standard for reading ebooks, eZines, white papers etc. on PCs.
